It will be good to finally see these things perform and read the reviews too. Many of us are sitting on the fence, waiting to see whether our next buy will be with Intel, or AMD.

The ~ultimate result~ would be that Bulldozer will release, and at the same time, PCI-E 3.0 graphics cards will begin to sell to the public. PCI-E 3.0's 'double the data bandwidth' promises to be significant in gaming performance.

They have double the bandwidth to work with, so yeah I imagine they'll be pretty quick.

The speed will only matter if there's a damn game to take advantage of the hardware. I'm beginning to think APIs are throttling a graphics card's potential.

I can't wait for Bulldozer's release. I've been so tempted to just get a 2500K recently. I'm seriously hoping that these chips are able to at least provide some kind of competition in the high-end market. Oh, and I hope that they overclock really well.

I think that it's true that the development of games hasn't kept up with advances in hardware. PC's these days are brutes compared to just a few years ago.

yep it Seems to be taking them a while but I sometimes get the impression that AMD is listening rather than brute-forcing the advancements and changes with CPU processing power & platforms.
