Thuban and Deneb results were achieved on a different platform. There were a few inconsistencies, so rather than posting potentially troublesome benchies, I decided to stick with the current ones only. Sorry fellas, but the integrity of the review was more important, I wanted to make sure we got it right. And we ran out of time.

50% slower in PS means I won't be using it at work. Gah.

I'm sure tweakers on a budget will love it. I'd have liked to see a return to Athlon 64 type days - not too much headroom, but stock performance is great - or even C2D with insane stock performance and lots of headroom.

I'm interested to see what happens with AMD stock tomorrow.

Not a problem to me, really. I'm just glad to see a review up before I hit the sack, and I'm glad that Pure OC was the first!

you know this mean, Intel wouldn't drop their prices, can't wait to see how the 2700K performs.

AMD's prices will tank. This is just skimming pricing for now. They're goin to wait for the people willing to spend $250 on this to buy it, then it'll drop, just like Agena.

The quad core doesn't even look like it's on par with Deneb (not that I'd expect it to be) - Is the OC headroom there to make up for the performance difference? Will the increase in power draw render it really unattractive?

    Man. Poor AMD.

I didn't realize the quad core was so cheap. Hopefully this design will help their margins.

I'd love to see someone do Thuban VS FX 6100 and Deneb VS FX 4100
