I'm looking for a experienced reviewer, or at least someone who knows how to write and has experience with Laptops or Notebooks. You also have to have a decent digital cam.

Send me a PM if your interested.

    Thanks

I does the writes really gooder. Elects myself. Thank you.

I have no experience reviewing, not PC stuff, outside of some stuff I posted to a blog some times, before GT got rid of them. I do have a T1i handy and I have been through quite a few laptops. The real question is, what do you want done for the reviews? Benches? Take the things apart? Grip tests*? I use my laptp constantly and on the go, so I know what I want from a laptop and I could rate from that perspective. Are they gaming laptops? Ultrabooks? Business?
I am in Canada though and right now between houses, though that issue is somewhat fixed with the temporary suite address we have.
The real issue right now would be that there isn't a nice desk to put it on for pictures. Otherwise I would love to give it a shot, because I think it would be fun and that's about it. I don't know how the deadlines would factor in. I have about five free hours a day.

    * = To explain the grip tests. I will often lift my laptop with one hand, from one side, open or close. Usually on the right side, being right handed. My current Toshiba doesn't like that and as such the plastic holding the metal hinge in place is broken. I've tried fixing it, but without a new body, that is a new go. That why I call it a POS. Performance wise it is OK for a five year old machine, considering it outlived its replacement, I look at it favourably for that.

And I know you said PM, but I had some questions, so yeah...
Oh and I work in sales, so I know what average consumers want (mostly cheap, surprise surprise) and I get enough gamers and business users to know what they want.

I work at The Source. Split from RadioShack a long time ago, but we still do some parts. Now we do a lot of cell phone stuff. We still sell quite a few computers (mostly laptops) and I know that stuff well (see retail edge badge to the left) since it is why I even started working here, but cell phones make me much more money. And other electronics and such. I don't make a lot of money, but I don't have high expenses, so my job is mostly profit for me. I'm trying to get back to school here, but it is difficult since I studied in the UK and a lot of course credits cannot be transferred.

Here's what's going on, first, I need a Laptop Tote reviewed, this bag is worth $100, and it would be a very easy review. 2nd, iBuyPower contacted me about reviewing their new 17" gaming laptop which is running a GTX680 for graphics.

The thing with iBuyPower is that they only loan their systems for review, they are not going to giveaway a $1800 laptop just for doing a review, Sansung does the same thing with all of their products, but after you have reviewed 5 products, they let you pick out something for your self as long as it's not more than $500 - $600.

WE have reviewed several of their Desktop systems, but this is the 1st time they asked us to do a laptop review. As always, I'm looking at the big picture, if we nail this laptop review we should be able to start getting tablets,
and I know they let you keep those

Honestly, until I bought some stuff here, I thought reviewers sent samples back :/

I feel like I could review a bag in a day or two, but a full on gaming laptop would probably take a week as I run benches and actually use the thing. The only question would be shipping. If they cover it, I'd have no problem. If they don't, I'd pass. Shipping is too crazy in NA.

Both iBuyPower and Samsung cover shipping both ways. And when you do a custom built desktop or laptop review you have to use it for at least a week. We have reviewed both Laptops and Notebooks for Samsung, but never a gaming laptop, and I do believe that this would be the first 17" Laptop for review

Hey, I'd love to do it, but if you don't want to give me a shot because of experience, trust completely understand.

I would probably want to test them for more than a week to be honest. Carry it around, doing more than just running benches.
