    Default Donations?

    Hi folks,.....

It's that time of year again and I'm trying to put together a system to auction-off for our local battered women and children's shelter. In the past I have asked for donations from our members and you guys have helped to make it happen.
The past two years have netted over $1250.00 that all went towards helping these women and their children start a new life without fear.

This is only a small part of what is donated yearly in my area, but it's important to those that run this charity. Having a nice looking new PC on display helps to convince others to donate and it usually sparks a large interest from people in our area during the auction.

I have already bought a New Dell 23" Flat Panel IPS Screen, and Windows-7 64Bit for the OS.
I have a new LG-DVD Burner that will work too.

I have a Cooler Master N200 Case that I got for free from Cooler Master because I'm an Advisor to them.
This case will accommodate a Mini-ITX and a Micro-ATX sized board only. I don't have either one yet, nor a CPU to use.

So I need donations. Anything will do, because if I already have what you donate, I can trade or sell it to get needed parts for the build. If it's possible for you to provide anything at all, it is welcome. I have no more cash to spend at this time, so I cannot pay you for anything.

Any small board will likely have just two RAM slots, so a pair of RAM sticks are needed.
A PSU is needed and an SSD for the OS would be great.
I may have an HDD, but will have to look for it. (will report back on the need for this in a later post)
I need a keyboard, mouse and speakers too.

I don't have an MS-Office Key for it, and would love to get one from someone. It doesn't have to be the latest version either. I’ll use something open source if I have to.
Anti-virus and security software are covered already.

This has to be delivered at the end of this month. So please, if you can help out, I thank you in advance.
PM me for an address, to send any items that you may have.

    Again, Thank You,

    Neil

I was just wondering if you are going with AIO OR Air. I only have a PHANTEKS air cooler. It is not new.

That would be good, and if I can't use it on the build, maybe I could trade it for something else?

Heavy duty, bad-ass cooler. I hope that it fits in the case I'm using. It looks impressive.

Blue is good, someone local to me just gave me three SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED Fans last night.

It's funny how things seem to come together sometimes.
Thanks again for providing that cooler.

Your donation will be very welcome, no matter what it is. Anything helps out.

I've done this three years in a row. My wife is a pastor and a crisis counselor there, (voluntary, for no pay) and some of the stories she comes home with would break your heart.
