Guessing he fired a bunch of people and they assumed he was closing because he didnt have the staffing.
Seems a little "fuzzy" still at this point. Other Manufacturers reps were confirming it yesterday, and if you fired a large majority of your staff, that indicates problems anyway. Even if he's broadcasting "It's not true", I'd be leery until we see more indications that the business is running and products are being bought, paid for and shipped. There seems to be a lot of Misinformation out there, and still no "Hey Guys we're doing fine" announcement on the FrozenCPU.com web page, (or even their Facebook page) which as a business owner suffering such a storm of incorrect announcements and misinformation, would be the first thing I'd fix! Customer confidence is critical, and right now, a lot of his customers are worried.

I just don't know. I wouldn't risk any of my hard earned Lucre on FrozenCPU.com at this point.

Strange thing is there still no any official statement from Frozen owner about those rumors. Suspicious, suspicious...

Im with you 100%. Not placing an order even though I did see a few people post that they received updates on order tracking.

As a business owner he should have had an announcement on the front page within 30 minutes of dismissing his staff. This would explain to people about slow orders and kill any rumors pissed off former employees could generate. Here we are 24hrs after the storm broke and still no official PR from them. It is business suicide to let the rumor mill dictate policy, reasoning and the future of the company. You have to get out front on major issues that can threaten your livelihood.

That is so true Sandy. He as a suppler should have made a statement telling his customers what is going on with his company and what to expect in the future.

Default Re: Frozencpu.com Out of Business?

There was another post a few hrs earlier. I've been seeing more and more info pop up.
I am going to merge the 2 threads, (this way we keep all the info in one thread)

But yes, it does suck if the news is true.
Hardware Forum has had some info saying that its not closing, but who knows what to believe at this point.
Even if they are not, the way things are is just leaving a lot of unanswered questions in the air and what is exactly happening and why.

IMO, I wouldn't Order anything from them unless everything has been cleared up we know everything is back in full swing.

Which sucks, I was about to make a big order to get some parts for my TJ07 project, but I am going to wait now since they were the ONLY one's that had the part I needed.

i ordered from them a couple of times and never had a problem but i usually order from PPC's so i dont have to pay tax since Frozencpu is in NY. plus some PPC's prices are a bit cheaper. i would go up there to be noisey but Frozencpu is on the other side of NY and about 5-6 hours away from me so no go.
You don't know me and that's the way i like it!

What makes me laugh the most is how much they are talking about this on that forum. Like it is their life or their job or business that is lost. None of the drama has jack crap to do with them and they are making it like they have so much inside info (which has turned out to be incorrect or retracted every time) that actually matters. It is all speculation until frozencpu comes out and clearly states what the agenda is. Until then people should just chill like PureOC. make a statement and move on. I guess people cant turn away from a slow moving train wreck.

Send me some of those parts that didn't get broken! I need some fittings bee-atch! hahaha

Yea I agree, I've been reading on 5 diff. forums now to see if anyone had any concrete info, but everything so far is all "hear say".
At this point, all we can really do it sit back and see what happens. There is no need to jump to any conclusions like the thread on OCN. That thread is getting a little outta control with LOTS of mis-information.

I been saving some cash to make an order through them. Guess I better wait for some confirmation one way or the other.
