Default Good news on the Primochill dye.

I contacted Primochill this morning. This is there reply back.
Thank you for contacting us! We are continually working on the True line of colors and we are hopeful that we can ship yours by the end of this week. If it is not yet ready at that time we can work on getting a substitute shipped out. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Have a great day!

I never got an email from them after Sandy said they told him that they would be contacting the giveaway winners. So whatevs, doesn't really inspire confidence in them as a company. If I get it I get it if I don't I don't.

im pretty sure they will come through in the end. How it all has happened is very unfortunate. For them but mostly for all of the winners they were expecting a price is short order. I am sorry I can't do more to get these to you all.

We most definitely don't hold you to have any responsibility in the matter, Sandy, you're a great guy who is trustworthy, respectable and honorable. Admittedly, I didn't have really any positive outlook on Primochill as it was, but only because I'd not used their products yet. I was hoping that the win would have changed that for me, but as others have said, I'm not exactly inspired to have confidence in them. Jim posted this thread over 2 weeks ago, and "by the end of this week" was, well, *almost* 2 weeks ago. As I've said before, when talking with Jim, I'm any more of the opinion that I'll likely never see mine, and if I do then I'll actually be quite surprised by it. Either way, I'll still be alive, as it has no effect on that, but I most definitely am not considering them for any purchases any time soon. At least I didn't fork over any cash for it, so I'm not dealing with any financial loss as a result. Honestly, I can only imagine the impact it's had on you, being the site owner and giveaway host, because I just know this has had to have eaten away at you a good deal too.

I'll still pop in here as I always do (mostly peeping, rarely speaking, cuz I don't much have time for conversation really), and occasionally see if any update's been made on this situation, but again I'll be surprised if it ever does come through. Heck, just watch and with how things go for me, I'll end up with a bottle of transparent UV pink, lol. "What's this? I didn't order this crap? Oh... nevermind, I remember." *facepalm*

I almost forgot to mention this. If they'd be alright with it - and from what Jim said, it sounds like they may - I'd be more than happy to get something else from them. I'm sure they make plenty of other things I'd rather have and that they are regularly stocking, and likely cost less $$$ for them as well (obviously that means a lower loss, which is a good thing for them). After all, they *do* make a lot of cool things that a builder/modder could really use in any and all builds.

Any remote chance of an update, maybe that I (we) can get some other kind of item perhaps? I just moved recently, so I've been outta the loop (pun intended) for about a month or so now.

I haven't heard anything. I figured it a lost cause. I don't really have a WaCo system to use it in at the moment anyhow.

I won the same prize on another site. I contacted them and asked for four sets of dual red LED Lights and they sent them.
I haven't used them yet but I tested them and they all work well.

Good news on the Primochill dye.-dual-red-leds.jpg

Go to their site and determine what you would like to have instead, (same cost) and then open a support ticket with Primochill. (mark it: ATTN- Brian)
Ask for the replacement part instead of the True Infused that you won. He'll help you to sort it out.

Just wanted you to know that if you won a prize from them last Christmas, you have an option other than to keep waiting.

Thanks for the info, Neil, that helps a lot! I'll do that on my next day off of work. That's very helpful!

Brian was very helpful and he got my replacement prize shipped the next day.
The customer service was so good that I decided to order from them the next time I need something.
