I don't know about that one, lol. The AMD FX 55, 57, 60, and 62 were pretty nasty back in the day. There was a good time that AMD slaughtered Intel in gaming and benchies with their Athlon 64 line up.

    Anyways, on topic...

    I say Intel.

EDIT: My apologies, I forgot that this was a contest thread! >_< Don't put my name in the pot for those products.

    I prefer Intel!

I also like to see some competition, so I want AMD and even VIA to stay around.

754 is dead, long live 754!!!
Shouldn't that be "long live 939"? We're not saying long live the dead king, we're talking about the next king.

Intel,.... Eating AMD's for breakfast since 1998
Actually I think Intel ate it's last AMD's in 1998. In mid 1999 AMD rolled out it's Athlon processor, and they've been competitive ever since. I think the K5, K6, K6 II, K6 III all failed to beat Intel at anything.

I had some old 1984 style IBM PC's with 8088's and some of the 8088's said "Manufactured for Intel by AMD". I wish I still had those chips to confuse the fanboys.
