Default September Contest - CPU Cooling

We have teamed up with a couple industry leaders and are proud to present a free giveaway, courtesy of CoolIT Systems and PureOverclock. CoolIT systems would like to give away one of their Domino ALC units and we would like to kick in a great air cooler, the Evercool Transformer 4 as a second prize. The contest begins today and runs into mid-September.

The prizes are coming from both CoolIT systems and PureOC to show our gratitude to you the forum members, who have made Pure OC what it is today.

This Contest is for members that live in the USA and Canada only, apologies to our Euro and Aussie friends.

So, here are the requirements to enter our contest giveaway:

    1. Submit your forum name in this thread.
    2. Your entry must also answer the following question: "Why Do You Want To Win This Giveaway?"
    3. Take a picture of your current cooler with your screen name on a piece of paper. (Make sure that it can be read)

We will take each of the answers to this question and choose the one we like the best. So, be creative and let's have some fun with it.

You can view more details on the prizes by visiting the CoolIT Systems product page or the Evercool product page.

CoolIT Systems and Pure OC will be covering the shipping expenses to send the prizes, so it is indeed a free giveaway with no strings attached.

is the domino a lot better than my true 120 black with 133cfm fans in push/pull? i might want to try water if it gives a big improvment.

I don't know that it would be any better, per say, but it would definitely be quieter. The Domino A.L.C. give about the same performance as a top end air cooler, don't know if its any better than what you are using right off hand though.

Why Do You Want To Win This Giveaway? Because...

I bought this motherboard a while back and then shortly after installing my heatsink it disappeared. I've put out a missing mobo report with the FBI, but they just sort of gave me the run around and mentioned to keep waiting by the modem for any pings. Seems this happens a lot when giganto coolers arrive on the scene. My hopes are dwindling daily to ever see it again. Please, help me...I miss it dearly.

They needed a nice home? There's another one above the Mugen 2 in the extra cage. Wiring is still a little hectic in there and could be cleaned up a little, but I need to pop a few holes in the tray first. Someday when I'm not so lazy I'll do that. Think 2011 I have an opening.

2.If my PSU is a bomb, my cpu cooler it`s not far. Soon, with this cooler i`ll die from heat and dust, and what`s the worst part? My gradma it`s already deaf and she stays in the other room and can hear this monster with its rpm. I want to win cause i`m a gamer and gamers need to be alive and "cool" until the end.Not to mention i must enjoy the silence of a new cooler so i can hear my enemies. Not my grandma crying from the other room.
