Well, I don't really "need" this power supply, but it would surely help my wallet since I'm a student with no job.

I will not be using this for gaming since I don't use Windows nor MacOS. I actually use Linux (Fedora) and have recently decided to build .rpm packages from source to provide 64 bit applications for new users trying Fedora. Expecting new users to compile from source can be a little 'demanding', and building .rpm packages will be as easy to install as double clicking .exe's

So I will be upgrading my system soon (mobo, gpu, cpu, and hopefully this power supply) because I need a little more power for my workstation and winning this Power Supply will help my budget.

    Thanks.

P.S. I have never really tried any of these contests, so I apologize if there are some rules I did not follow.

Same as timmy, I don't need this. Recently my dads PC wasn't starting up. Me being the only person that knows a bit about this stuff, I think that the PSU is fried. It would really help him out. He is bad with money and recently got some money, that's why I was able to build my i7. But since he is not a wise spender, that money is gone and we are probably going to lose our house and other things. His computer is one of his favorite posessions. I would love to win this so I could help him out with that and be the good son that I am.

I need that PSU in order to change my old one as you have seen already what kind of PSU i have right here.

I need this PSU for better cable management, for a more stable system, for more power for an eventual upgrade. Unfortunatelly here where i live i don`t have Ultra PSUs. So this must be my only chance to have this PSU. Besides with this financial crisis it would be a blast if i actually win this better than buy it cause i need to support my closest with all the money i can use. It would be a nice present for me from Ultra and PureOC. Plus it will be my first winning.Or second...

I would need that PSU to me able to upgrade my system to better specs.
I'm a student as well so it would help my budget a lot.
Also it would be a better psu for my case cuz the current one doesn't have modulard cables so inside of my case is a mess right now. Also my current psu doesn't meet the requirements for my the new gpu's im planning to buy (2x gtx380 when they come)

And I'm willing to pay the shipping fees to Finland.

I plan on picking up a Nvidia GT300(with my EVGA bucks)in the near future so I could really use a larger power supply to power it.

Well, I think I should win the power supply because the last power supply that I bought was/is a no-brand one. Had it for just over 2 years now and it almost smells like a steak.
It wouldn`t surprise me if it starts a fire. Imagine that in less than 2 seconds i have to be quick enough to pull the power. I don`t want to risk. I don`t want to damage my computer and be able to fry my eggs on it. I do really need to win this PSU to have the maximum power for my pc and in the same time, better (electricity)efficiency. If i win i`ll not end up smelling like a steak while playing and I can seem shocked when my wife finds the electricity bill.
