I ended up getting my first ever printer (/scanner/copier) and some other stuff to ease the burden of going back to school. Kinda sad that I've been here this long and just now got a printer, lol.
Oh, and my girlfriend gave me a cold!

Mine is a Canon Pixma MP250. My Mom got the same one as me, and it seems to do really well. Got to test (and setup) hers for a while, and I'm more excited about the scanner than I am about the printer. Although that will also help for printing shipping labels, instead of having to walk to the library.

The Canon Pixma MP250 is supposed to be a decent model, I guess time will tell. What's the cost for replacing ink?

My old xerox 6100 is coming to the end of it's time so I'm looking for a laser printer/mfp where the color and B/W speeds are the same...doesn't need to be super quick but does need to be cheap to run ....oh and needs to be duplex for parts lists/manual printing.
I'm prepared to look at secondhand so if anyone has recommends I'm listening (just as interested in what NOT to buy)
