What's wrong with the system Sky built, or are you just looking to upgrade?

I would enjoy winning to have an opportunity to fill that tower with all the goodies that would make a hard core builder wet himself with excitement at a chance to bench it!

I would love to win the case & things for my son. He is a college student, trying to work and go to college full time for computer networking. He has been wanting to work some extra hours to try to buy a few parts at a time to put together a computer system. He can't afford to buy a system & he watches for sales to pick up what he can. Unfortunately he now has to buy new tires for his car, so computer parts are on hold. These items would give him a great boost toward putting together his own system.
    Thanks

Traz, that's an awesome post. I know how it is to make ends meet these days. It's tough, especially for college students. Good luck.

I would love a good case. My current case (a xion vantage w/ a halo 2 sidepanel) was purchased before the overclocking/modding virus got a hold of me so it isn't a very good case. After i OC'd my processor and graphics card things got mighty hot in there and I had the bright idea to add more 120mm fans. My modding adventures have so far produced two mangled out holes in my case: one on the side and the other on the top of the case that I wouldn't dare put a fan next to. As a graduate student I can't really afford a decent case quite yet, nor can i afford decent tools for completing my modding in a satisfactory manner. I used a friend's drill to claw out the holes by making a bunch of tiny holes close to one another and using needle nose pliers to actually rip out the center bit. Clearly I shouldn't mod at this stage in my life, but as long as I have my current case I will continue to make my neighbors miserable.

Update: Having worked on mom's NZXT Beta EVO case I really want to work on another NZXT case. The wire management options were plenty, and the Tempest EVO looks even nicer. Mom's case looks so nice and sleek under her desk. I keep finding my way into her room to "check on the system". Not to mention that it came with filters too, so there was no need for crudely applied stocking like on my case. Throw in a fan controller and one is set to have an awesome new house for any system. Winning the two would be one of the best things to ever happen to any computer geek. Good luck to all entered in the competition.

Clearly I shouldn't mod at this stage in my life, but as long as I have my current case I will continue to make my neighbors miserable.
i use a icute gaming case, 1 front 120mm fan,1 rear 140mm fan, 1 side 120mm fan. this case is only £39.00 at maplins, -£3.00 voucher, i have artic freezer pro, on the cpu, a qfan on the north bridge, my system has never gone above 42c and my cpu rarely goes above 38c even under full load. I have a bfg 280 gtx, witch is supposed to run very hot, but so far no problems. my piont is, you dont have to spend a fortune. I would reccomend this case as a starting piont. I once hacked my freinds case to pieces to help with air flow, after drilling 100 holes here thier and everyware adding a few large fans, my work was rewarded with a 1c drop in tempreture. good luck with the compatitiong.

Default Why I want to win

I would love to win this NZXT case because this is going to be my first chance to FINALLY complete a custom build, and I want it to look good! I have finally put together the money to start piecing together so I can stop using this old work laptop to play 10-year-old games.
