I would set up a mirror and take pictures of myself taking review pictures. I'd use the recorder to record myself taking pictures of myself taking review pictures.

Lords knows that I sure could use a better camera for my reviews. My old brownie sucks.

The first picture would be of my old brownie and posted here on the forums.

ooh sweet a camera, I've needed a new one for ages.
First Photo I will take will be of the new H50 I'm going to install into my rig after it arrives (Posted yesterday Express, I can't wait) so that I can finally post pictures of my system on the forums
And The first thing I would record would probably be Supernatural Season 5 Episode 21 (series finale?)

as for the recorder... i really wouldn't have much use of it, so i'm not gonna say anything

Now that's something I could use. So you bet I'll give my entry.

    1) My daughter (18 months). She's always causing mischief in this house and my old Fuji S304 is a piece of junk.

    2) I'd use it to back up my extensive collection of big-haired floppy-shoe'd circus clown porn.

Thanks PureOC for another contest! Thanks also to Samsung!

For these things they go hand in hand for me. I have been trying to get into photography, video, effects, design, etc. Basically my goal one day is to be able to run my own business but I am really just starting to get into all of this.

For the camera it the first picture I would probably take would be of my chihuahua. It is because he is always doing something crazy around me so I can test out the different options on the camera.

For the dvd drive I would mainly be recording my own videos and design stuff that I make. I mainly use a laptop(macbook, has all my software on it) for this, so being able to have an extra dvd drive to record with would be nice since I am limited.

Once again, thanks, and good luck to everyone!

First thing is first, a huge big up to Samsung for donating such amazing prizes. Another big up to PureOC to having yet another awesome contest. Having something like this is truly fun.

I have been without a good working camera for a good 3 or 4 years. It works, but "drains" my batteries after 10 to 12 shots. It's annoying when you check your battery life and find there is well more than 3/4 energy left in those batteries and the camera doesn't recognize it.

Now, as far as a first picture, since I don't have a recent picture of me, I'd likely take one of myself. My first major use of it would probably be a few pictures of me at a couple of anime or car conventions.

Hmmmm, I'd probably use this for a HTPC set up I had been thinking about for a while. Honestly, I don't think I have much use for it. I might just give it to my mom and see if she can use it for something.

I could use it as a back up in case my laptop DVD drive fails on me.

Anyway, good luck to those who enter!

What will be the first photo you will take with your new Samsung PL60 Digital Cam?

Me in the mirror holding the camera as i don`t have the joy of having a digital camera. Of course the picture will be taken without "the flash"
What would you record with the Samsung Tru Direct External DVD Recorder?

All the things I can including dvd movies or high-definition movies. It would be a first step forward from my cd-writer. I think about throwing it away as it lived its life already.

Thanks PURE OC for this giveaway.
