Good deals for Canadians looking for a headset...
Corsair HS1 for only 50: Corsair Gaming Audio Series CA-HS1 USB Headset 50mm Drivers Circumaural Earcups Dolby Digital
Or the Vengeance 1500 for only 70 (plus 10 MIR): Corsair Vengeance 1500 Gaming Headset Dolby 7.1 50mm Driver Circumaural Earcup USB
Or you can get the Vengeance 2000 for only 105! I kid you not: Corsair Vengeance 2000 7.1 Wireless Gaming Headset at Memory Express
I saw the HS1 deal and it escalated into the 2000 quickly. I love MDR-V6 and they are OK for gaming, but I find the cable annoying. After asking a buddy... he said theyre good, but that I should pick up the exchange, because RMA is a bitch as you pay shipping to Corsair in the States. Not cheap for a large item if you want tracking. Luckily MemEx is local for meTwo years should be enough, then I will probably be ready for something new.
FYI, if you are local to neither, MemEx shipping is cheap and they offer pricebeat.
Technically Canada Computers has the 2000 for less, but those guys have messed up every order I have ever made with them... I wont even make MemEx match for a fiver anyway.
Enjoy! Let me know if you see more good Canadian stuff. Looking for a mouse pad, black.

I was stuck shopping all components on newegg (long story) and tiger at least had the 8350 for an even $200 so I figured they would bring it down at some point. Nope. Was really disappointed in the processor/motherboard deals, especially on cyber monday.

Fry's had a good deal on the i5 3570k with a MSI Z77 Mobo for $209, which is great for those looking for a i5.. MC has the i7 3770k for $229 right now... Pick up only... great deal if you have a MC near you...
I tried to pick up the i5 3570k combo at frys for a buddy, but by the time I made it out there they were sold out 30 mins after they opened..
For myself this year I didnt pick up much. I picked up allot of stuff for friends/family that didn't have time to wait in line. Plus I had a bunch of other family with me so it was great to see them enjoy the shopping.

I had been watching 240 and 256gb drives for a couple months and the prices weren't budging for the longest time. All the good deals came in after I had bought the vertex 3's and sent in the rebates. Can't return products with missing barcodes. I'm not disappointed though, I got each drive for $130 each after 20 mir. I looked up benchmarks and these are pretty high up there plus they had the latest sandforce driver. I wish I could've pulled off an indilinx controller but I wasn't sure they'd go on enough of a sale. I budgeted $150 per SSD and when I saw the benchmarks, I decided to pull the trigger.
