Default FS: ASUS 990FX Crosshair V Formula Motherboard + EK Water Blocks

    Hey All,

It has come time to let my personal fav. AMD motherboard go for sale. This isn't the board I reviewed here, however this was my own personal Crosshair V Formula (None Z) Board from one of my builds.
I ended up using this on my AMD test bench for a while with a FX 8350. This board is in great shape as you will see in the photos. I have kept everything including the original box.
However there are a few things missing, 1. the I/O Plate. Since I had it on my test bench I didn't use it, so I some how miss placed this. However one can be picked up for about $20 on eBay if you need it.
    2. No SATA cables will be included. I am still using them on my test bench.

However it does include the other accessories such as: Manuals, Drivers Disk, ROG connector, SLI adapter, and other varies stickers and the original box.
I have priced this board to SELL fast. Reason for selling, I no longer need this since I have another board that I will be using for my test bench.
In the meantime, If I do happen to come across the I/O Plate even after you have purchased this, I will ship it out to you. I am sure it will turn up somewhere. I just need to have the time to look for it.

Priced to sell at: $150.00 SHIPPED! This is the TOP of the LINE motherboard from ASUS for AMD.
    Here are some pics.

If you are also interested, I do have the N/B Watercooling block for this motherboard from EK. I had intended to use it, however never got around to it. The N/B Block is BRAND NEW.
The block cost me $80 to get when it was available. I will sell it for $60 SHIPPED Comes with everything you need to get started. Comes with the original box as well.

I did, I used it on this board for a little while. Temps were good, not as good as the Apogee HD block, but within 1 or 2 degrees from each other under load.
The Copper (bottom) is a little oxidized from sitting, but overall still in great shape, Could use a light polishing with some cleaner, but other then that its in great shape. Internally, the block is pretty much flawless. I only ran disstilled water with PT nuke and silver coil through this.

I want it. I will check to see if you still have it this weekend. Probably won't though because you are selling the combo for about the price of a new board. It's a great deal for someone wanting to build a water cooled AMD system. I have this exact same board and it kicks ass.

    House cleaning are we?
I gotta to clean out my closet too....

To clean oxidized copper; you're probably already know this, if not then just use a spoon of table salt with lemon juice, make paste like, rub it on the copper base and let it sits for a couple minutes, rinse it off with distilled water and wipe off with a clean cloth. For the fins, you can use toothbrush to scrub them.

For coating protection; you can use a thin coat of alum. cleaner or Turtle wax.

Yea, pretty much. I just have accumulated ALLOT of stuff over the last year or so.
It's time to let some of these items go and lets others enjoy them since I know I won't be using it. So holding onto them just doesn't do me any good ATM. lolz.

Thanks for the cleaning tip, thats what I did before. If I have some time, I will clean up the EK block for the person that buys it.
