Xotic is priced at quite the norm. If you find something any cheaper than that, there is a reason. It's not just a better price.

BestBuy has the same Asus unit hundreds less. $1429. That site lists it starting at $1600. There's only has a 500G hard drive for the $1600. Bestbuy is 1T HDD. That site is a rip off. I compared specs. Unless you find differently let me know.

Here. I found it for less than $1400 with higher res screen...... 6G ram and 500G HDD though......

    http://www.pro-star.com/index.cfm?mainpage=productdetail&model=G51JX-A1

Looks like xotic is cheaper..... I would call pro star on the phone and see if they could beat the price. Why not????

what would you do, looks like i have 3 options

    1. take the higher res screen and lose the extra 500 hdd along with the 2gb ram
    2. take lower res screen and keep the extra 500 hdd and 8gb ram
    3. pay more money and get it all.

damn options. i dont know how big of an upgrade any of this is as far as performance increase/decrease.
what would u do if you were getting it for gaming?
