Default Modding Full Tower Expansion Slots

Hey all, was wondering if anyone had any work logs on modding the expansion slots of a case, Im looking at buying 2 x GTX 580 Mars II Cards, However in my Phantom case, I dont have enough expansion slots to hold the bottom 580, they require 3 each, and with my Rampage III Formula, this doesn't really wanna work. Has anyone got any suggestions??

If your' able to afford 2x MARS you should be able to get some nice case too.. like DD or MoutainMods...

Addiontally, your better off if you just got 4x FTW 580s from evga, they perform better than the mars and only uses 4 slots.

Save your money and buy either two GTX 590s of two GTX 580 Matrix cards

You're willing to spend more than $3,000 on two GPUs, and you're running with some crappy air cooling? Man up. Do as Doc suggests, get a pair of Asus 590s, build some WaCo goodness, overclock like Hell. Slots are no longer an issue with water blocks.

Cheers lads, but there may be an edit needed here, The item I meant was a asus mars 2 (2xgtx580).

I currently have 2 x GTX460s's and dont really wanna get rid of them as they would work well for running a 24" lcd each on 1920x1080.

I wanted one single Mars II just for running the main Display (46" LCD). The rampage 3 Formula only has 3 pci slots at x16.
So in saying this, sorry about the miscommunication, but im still left with a predicament, unless I go water.

In any case, Earth, If money weren't the issue, Don't you think that manning up would be to get the two x Asus Mars II's and puttem them on water, rather then two x 590's???

    Thanks for the input lads...

Regardless of which slot I put each card in im still gonna fall shy with room in the case... hence I asked the question... Thanks for the
