    WEI Gaming Graphics: 7.8

    WEI Hard Disk: 6.8

First Multiplayer Game: Rainbow Six the original made in like 1996 or something like that

    Painted the video card

    sleeved the entire PSU

and last photo I promise! this is a pic from above the big fan looking down on the matrix light on the video card

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

o I forgot this pic, here is what the video card looked like before. I forgot to take before pics of the skelly but it was bone stock before I started modding

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

got a new toy in today

    Asus Xonar Essence STX

i wanted my new toy (the skeleton) to recreate the sound of my favorite toy more accuratley, so after some seroius research i decided on he essence

after some testing, i think that they are both works of art. Its hard to describe the heightened level of emersion that comes out of my cans

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys got a couple of updates for you! Added a Masscool HD cooler for my SSD and man does it look good, check it out!!!

Well just got in my second HD 5870 So now its time to get.....
    CAUGHT UP IN THE CROSSFIRE!!!

But here she is, The Sapphire HD 5870 2GB Eyeinfinity 6 Edition

Whats that you say? "You cant put that in the skelly all red and what not"

Dont worry its scheduled to get VOoDOoized tomorrow.

VOoDOoization is in progress as we speak here are some more proper pics before you see the finished project

and here she is naked, as you can see Sapphire and Asus have some of the same techniques (way too much thermal paste!)

If im lucky, tomorrow you will se a finished project

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the Sapphire HD 5870 2GB Eyefinity 6 all finished

And here is what the skelly looks like now, not much different, you just see the intake ports at the back of the card. But i think its a nice touch

Got a little sentimental looking at my photobucketo i thought i would post some pics during the build of VOoDOo Skeleton that i never did before

Finally I got my eyefinity on!! Thanks to a few of your forum members I got it all working properly!!

Thats all for now, until I update my graphics for BF3!!!

Ok guys, little update. Got in a new air cooler. Its the Spire Thermax Eclipse II. Sorry no original pics for now, but I just wanted to get everything installed and see how everything worked together. After getting everything back together I put a little overclock on my i7 930. I oc'ed it to 3.6 on 1.25v. After running bc2 for 3 hours my cpu hit 70c. This is pretty respectable, but If I want lower load temps under my standard oc of 4.2 I am going to need a little more help. So I am going to lap my first cpu!!! I will get a few pics during the process as well as get some original pics of my new heatsink setup. While I like the preformance of the factory fans on the Spire, they really dont fit my build well, so I opted to affix some geild wing 12's to it. Here are some stock photos of what I am working with.

This is the heat sink in its stock form

And here are the geild wing 12's I will using as fans (I have original photos of these because I have used them before)

So I hope I can give you another update this weekend with results!!

Yes, I download the intel speed tuning software that is provided for our mothers boards to oc. Everything I try to change in the bios results in crashes. I have all the latest bios revions as well. Thought it was odd, but the intel program works fine.

I know Intel designs that program to compatible most Intel boards but won't guarantee to work for all. Asus is already included their AI suite for you to overclock in Windows environment why bother with IST?

I don't even bother with AI suite or have a chance to test out IST yet, I just OC from BIOS as always. Never really like to do it from Windows. Your problem is not the board, it's compatibility with IST.

I have always used bios to overclock in the past. I think you/I misinterpreted each other. What I mean is I use the intel program because my bios will not let me overclock. Any cpu value that I change in bios results in a non posting machine. So after a while of being bored with a stock machine, I started looking for a solution within windows. I should have rma'ed this board a long time ago, but I just didnt want to deal with the hassle. Sad thing is, the mobo is probabaly the only thing that I could rma! lol eveything else I voided the warranty!

    I guess so.
Are sure it wasn't something to do with your RAM?

Asus is pretty good with RMA as long there is no any physical indication of the damage to the board. They'll replace it with no questions.
