Unhappy Will there be enough space for my RAM with my Corsair H80 cooler?

    Hi,

Sorry im not sure where this topic belongs so feel free to move it..

I was just wondering as I'm about to get an Asus Rampage IV Formula x79 chipset as my current (Gigabyte x58 UD-5) one have issues but anyway I was just worried that I might not be able to fit my Memory stick (kingston HyperX) on the new motherboard (Rampage IV formula) as I currently have a H80 CPU cooler and it will be blocking the space of the memory slot on Rampage IV... Has anyone have had issues like this? should I replace my memory as well? will there be enough space to fit them all? Screenies provided below thats my current system.

I have the X79 Rampage 4 Formula, looking at your current cooling setup, your going to have to either use only a single fan, or mount the rear fan on the back of your case.
I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, I'm currently upstairs on my other X79 system.

However you can buy a LGA2011 3820chip for under $300, it may not be unlocked like the 3930K or 3960X, but thie 3820 still overclocks great.

Hmm.. My current system is on my profile.. I wanted to upgrade motherboard or at least replace it as my current one is defective.. for some reason 1 of the PCI-E slot doesnt work so I couldnt put my other GTX 580 and the other slot down below 8x wont fit as Ive got cables and shhit there but anyway.. Should I go for Rampage III extreme x58 for $250 that way I can maintain my system or just upgrade my components to a new one ? I know it'll cost more but looking ahead will it be wiser?
