wow...it's a big res, I hope you're only going to use straight distilled water or it's going to cost you an arm and a leg with glycol coolant.

Can you do a shot of where the res will be instead the case? like stand up the glass inside so we can visuallize what it will look like?

Yes Smoked black pixie glass. Wen I worked at a company doing powder coating .We made cab's for NASA. This pixie was for the window in the cab. It is 1/4'' thick.

Jim,
Big res or small res has no contribution in thermal performance, it is just a filling point for the coolant. Keep this in mind, high coolant volume takes longer for the temperature to equilibrium.

Stan. I am going to mount it in the bottom of the case. I will mount my psu in the top.
