    Default NZXT Phantom Enthusiast

Case arrived this evening in one piece...it pretty much looks like I imagined it would.

This one is to be the final resting place for my 980X/Classified combo. I really can't see myself ever needing anything more powerful than this considering the little needs I actually have. Destined to be my gamer and possibly an everyday rig if the laptop ever plays out, the only thing I would ever add might be different video cards if the current ones gave out.

Since I have no window to expose the inner workings I won't be spending nearly the time/effort that TeeBlack will on his new 630. I will do my best to make it presentable tho lol. The rest of the parts will be here sometime Thursday so I anticipate having it completed by the weekend...barring any boobish mistakes on my part.

Cool! There will be a huge Phanteks cpu cooler taking up a lot of real estate in mine.

Ok, a slight delay in assembly. I have decided to swap out the case fans for red led models and It will be Monday before the balance of them arrive. Decided against the window option...with the huge Phantek cpu cooler installed I feel the mesh opening will be a plus for cooling effect.

Thinking of orienting the cooler in this position...letting the top 200mm case fan draw air upwards and out.

I've already replaced the front 140mm and side hdd 120mm fans to red led's. There will be a soft red glow showing through the screenage. A 200mm top fan and another 120mm back fan are on the way which will illuminate slightly the large side screen.

I'll take my time and do this one as neatly as possible.

Slow go here - I've tried multiple configurations with this cooler and this is the only orientation that is going to work...there simply are too many obstructions on this motherboard.

Thanks Tee - This is about as good as it's going to get...time to load it up, then tidy the wiring behind.

Up and running...I have to go to work now, will mess with it when I return. Curious to see how this cooler will perform.

    That PC looks awesome.
Good job keeping it tidy too.
You're right about that configuration having enough power to last you. It should be good to go for along time.

EDIT: Those temps look good at idle.
