    Default Cable sleeving kit?

Ive never sleeved before, but my current cables are super stiff, so I want to sleeve to make them more flexible. Anyone know a good kit I can get, preferably shipped within Canada. Looking to go black with a blue accent or two. I have seen it mentioned here before, thought I had it bookmarked, nothing :/

It isn't hard to sleeve as long as you get a tool to get the connectors removed without breaking anything

So I found the place I was looking for Lutro0 Customs | Lutro0 Customs is a quality provider of sleeving supplies and tools. via ocn, but I have now ended up confused, because there is so much choice :s

Might just hire someone to do the sleeving at this point... or buy an already sleeved from moddiy or some such.

I dont know right now. Investment just seems huge for one sleeving project.

Are you still using the Seasonic PSU ? If you have a Corsair PSU, they sell full sleeved kits for most of their power supply's . I picked up two kits [ one white & one blue ] for the AX1200 for $69 each shipped, Kitsfor the newer units like the AX1200i now sell for $99.99 per kit, but their very well made and worth the price.

But I love my seasonic. Found out that outsourcing would cost 350-400 for the whole thing. People are paying themselves way too much per hour. Material cost is less than 100. Leaving about 300. If it took ten hours, that is a high wage. My buddy said it took him like five movies the first time he did it. So about eight hours.

Materials and tools would probably cost me 150 and then my time. I think I would be OK with that. Did find a place called modDIY, might ask them how much they would charge and go from there.

Probably end up doing it myself if I can find a good guide. So far the stuff has nothing but confused me.

Tbh, if you get the AX850 or such, the stock cables are still very good. If you are not prepared to swap out your Seasonic, understandable, they make High quality products.

Hey Mat...sleeving won't make your cables more flexible, that depends on the wire going into the sleeving. Although I've sleeved many cables I went with the Corsair blue set for my AX850, now those puppies are stiff.

    Default Re: Cable sleeving kit?

I only know one person that sleeved, he only did the ones he needed, so there was a decent comparison there and the ones that were individually sleeved were more flexible than the standard ones. I don't want much give, just a bit more for some tight turns.
