Very nice work indeed. Those fan grills like the first picture though makes some terrible noise i had bought some but i was shocked by the noise and never used them.

Nice Rig u have there Earth, I always wondered if the MIPS Ram Block really serve any cooling purpose? I understand the top of the dominator fins comes off and the Ram Block sits on top of the Corsair Dominator Rams, but whether it really cools down the Memory fails to convince me just my thought. No doubt it looks really good though.

That is quite impossible, since these are my drawing and my design. I had six of them laser cut and chrome-plated, and another six of them waterjet cut and polished. The laser cut set came out looking better.

There is also next to no noise. I'm a watercooler. My intake fans spin at like 500rpm, max. My VelociRaptors are the only noisy thing in that machine.

I wasnt talking about the exact same desigh but fan grills with desighs generally.I have 5-6 from performance-pcs acrylic and aluminium which create a terrible noise when installed so i ended up with the regular wire grills.

This is a point I can't really answer. Nobody ever takes thermal readings from ram. I'd like to believe it does as well as air, but is quieter. Yes, let me keep believing that.

The Khaos has been down for weeks, so I don't have current info. Before I tore the loop apart I had a minor OC of 4.2@1.3v and a temp spread of around 32 - 38C. But I have no idea what my ambients were. Now though, I've split the loops, added two more D5s, and am building a proper "frame" to hold the mo-ras. Things will change.

/e In other news, I just found out that the two pump tops I ordered from Belgium are not clearing customs. They've been returned to the shop twice. And the owner is on vacation until May 24. So, looks like at least another two weeks of downtime.
