Default If you were buying a case...

which would you buy at the moment? I'm looking for a (black) case with great cable manage, great airflow, and preferably a side window. I can spend up to 260 bux. It can be full tower OR mid, as long as it's roomy.

Have you checked out our recent reviews? The one that I am currently using is the SilverStone FT01, and I can definitely recommend it. Check out our review of it here: http://www.pureoverclock.com/article736.html.

Its $40 off right now on newegg, bringing its price down to $199. There is also a $25 mail in rebate.

I could tell you all of the features of the case here, but why not check out the review? I don't dono't want to have to re-write the review here, lol.

Depends on your budget. Top choices in my opinion:

    Mid-tower: Silverstone Fortress FT01, Thermaltake Element S

Full-tower: Cooler Master Storm Sniper, Cooler Master ATCS 840

Shattered! I read the review, and that case is very tempting. You did a fantastic job, bud. The only thing I worry about with the Fortress is the cable management. I don't really see much room behind its tray.

Skyguy, I stated that my budget is 260ish USD. Thanks for the recommendations. I know you are quite anal about cable management, too.

As long as you don't bundle all of your cables together behind the mobo tray, and keep them separated, then you will be fine. I have all of my cables behind there that need to be, and don't have any problems, and I even left all of the cables for my Freezon Elite bundled together behind there.

I went to my local store in hopes to find the CM that Skyguy mentioned, no luck.

    BUT!

I found an Antec Twelve Hundred on sale for 119.99!!! I just couldn't turn that price down. :/

Great case. May sound like a blow-dryer when all fans are set to high, but a damn good case all around. You can even mount a 240mm rad on the rear of the case on the inside and still have plenty of room to spare! Good choice my friend!

Oh, it'll be loud alright. Going to use the money I saved on the sale and spend it on some Deltas to stick in there.

I wouldn't do that. Keep the stock fans on the case and save your cash for a better item. Trust me, I know this from experience! The stock fans set at medium and the top on low are a perfect medium between cooling and sound, ie. perfect! I have that case in the other room and I keep them all set to low. Im running another CoolerMaster V8 on a E8400, P5Q Pro, 4GB G.Skills and a EVGA 9800GTX+ and the V8 is running passive with all case fans at low and the temps never seen above 45c on the 8500

I wasn't planning on replacing any of the stock fans because they're all hooked to the fan controller on the back of the case. I planned on fixing 2 Deltas onto the bay and one in the optional slot in on the side window.
