I'm just wondering if the Mugen 2 will fit into this case on an Asus P6T motherboard.
If you have this build, PLEASE TELL ME.

Take a look the Zalman CNPS 9900 , it's $74.99 Zalman has always made great coolers.

That's one big cooler.
The question is will it fit into your case?
If it's say LGA1366 socket compatible then it will fit X58 boards. You should have full tower case with at least 8" deep.

Deton, his case is a little over 8", but that's counting side panels, once you add motherboard standoffs the board itself, the cooler sitting on top of the processor, I doubt he will get his side panel back on. I think he's is going to need a 10" wide case, something like the CM HAF or CM Storm Sniper

Holly smoke....8"s still won't fit?
Accord to XS review, that cooler still fall short behind the True and it's little smaller.

I'm not really sure, it's kind of hard to tell by looking at photos, if he owns this case, he needs to see how much room is left from his board to the edge of the case, and take it from there.

Scythe Mugen 2 sticks out exactly 17.7cm (6.96") from the motherboard backplate (that's including standoffs) when mounted to my ASUS P6T Deluxe. I've got a CM HAF 932, but if you have 17.7cm from where your motherboard mounts to your side panel it should fit. In the HAF I have 3.9cm left until the side panel (though with the side panel fan on considerably less).

You HAF is also 10" from side panel to side panel, his case is a little over 8" which is why I think he may run into problems. How is your cooling performance with this cooler, would you mind posting some temps at idle and under load ?

You're right, that's why that measurement I gave is from the motherboard mounting plate out to the end of the cooler. If he has 6.96" from the backplate to the side panel it will fit. If it fits it's going to be tight, hard to really tell without measuring it.
I haven't done any really good temperature tests, but I don't have the equipment to test it properly anyway (thermal probe embedded in the IHS, noise level meters, etc...) so here are some reviews I used when deciding what to buy:

Performs pretty much on par or slightly better than the TRUE, but it's around $45 depending where you buy from, so a way better value.

Max load on my 920 @ 4ghz 1.375 vCORE, HyperThreading disabled, just barely hits 80C after 5 passes of IntelBurnTest.

Maybe I should contact them and try to get a review sample, that way we can compare it to the rest of the coolers we have.

I went to my computer store, and they did some measurements, and the Mugen 2 will not fit into this case. Currently I am using stock cooling.

Thats what I figured, the Xigmatek Dark Knight would be a good cooler for you, or if you have the extra cash, the Zalman 9900.

Yeah, the Dark Knight is 12X5X15.9cm.
It would be a really damn tight fit, if it fit at all.
That's why I was looking at the Katana 3. Any ideas about that?

Do you plan on doing any overclocking , lf you are, how far to you plan on pushing your 920 4GHz or under ?

Possibly to around 3.2-3.5 Ghz, and only while I am gaming. But I might be gaming for up to 6 hours at a time.
