Drooling, er browsing, at Newegg today and finally they have an update on this case. Looks like September 4 shipping starts. More here. For some reason I am interested in this one even though I have a real soft spot for Lian Li hardware.

That's what sort of prompted me to do some checking. Would really be interested in a first hand review of the final rendition.
Another thought: You know, this isn't helping my urge to just be happy with a nice and shiny new rig. Already have visions of a 760 Classified, some stupid fast Corsair 2000 ram, ridiculously expensive BFG Tech GTX 295, and, well, you get the idea.

It just dawned on me that this case might only be compatible (with some semblance of neat & tidy) with Corsair PSU's. In the Legit Reviews review of the case it says they included a special sata power cable for the harddrives hotswap panel. What are the odds they include an adaptor for psu brands other than theirs? I almost know for certain that a direct plugin to say an Enermax Revolutions psu is out of the question.
If you guys do manage to wrangle one for testing could you check this with other brands?

I see in the TweakTown review of the case how they do the hotswap sata cable now. It will work with any psu. The cable has four female sata connectors for the hotswap plate and the other end is a male that simply plugs into any standard female sata power cable connection. Pretty slick case when it's all said and done. Just wish it was available about a month ago.![]()
