    Default Silverstone TJ07 aftermarket parts

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that makes and sells optional components for the TJ07. In my first thread, I mentioned my kittens being a consideration for my choice of case towards a watercooled build. The TJ07 has served me very well so far and has been pretty cat proof, however the other night, one of my kittens leapt onto the top of it with quite some pace and I wondered why he was so still for about five minutes. Although his claws had been recently clipped, he managed to get himself stuck onto the top fan grill. Also, both kittens like to sit on top of the case at the back and slowly stick their whiskers into the exhaust fan blades, I think they like the noise it makes!

Not having any experience in case modding, I was wondering if there was a modding place (preferably in the UK) that could offer an alternative mesh. I've tried to think of different ways of guarding the mesh and the fans, but as the case is on display in the living room, I'm not really a fan of cages and such....any radical ideas much appreciated.

Well the most obvious TJ07 modder is www.MurderMod.com
There are several mods that are more customized towards aesthetics and overall external outlook of the TJ07

First up the back plate that removes the exhaust fans entirely, however the draw back is the air circulation is severally compromised for the safety of your cats. Unless you intend to watercool your CPU or setup liquid cooling in the near future?

The CPU, PWM and voltage regulator area tend to get really hot without the rear fan

The exhaust fan at the top can also be replaced by Murdermod's exquisite Top Grill, This top grill is made of Acrylic they get scratches really easily and are very brittle, i already broke one when i removed the top grill to refill my loop and left the grill on my bed and next thing when i took a break i comfortably sat on my bed and snap the top grill into 3 pieces Ouch!!!

You know, I was looking at your work log earlier and noticed the significance of your signature when it came to me about MurderMod!

The Top Grill looks perfect, design-wise. Scratch easily and brittle? I can already picture a cat looking back at me through the case window... I couldn't mind a metal equivalent on their website, do you know if they do one?
