Nice job! I'm okay but no expert by any means at OC. i've been getting stuck at 5.2 with the 2600k, but not due to the heat. I'll send you some stats on my CPU and water temps by email.

The 2600K is chip dependent sometimes. Either you get a good one or ya get a bad one however; I thought I had a bad chip for overclocking. I pumped the voltage up to 1.58V and got 5.2 and 5.3 on all the boards. My temps stayed high 70's which is acceptable. Try more vcore.

Thanks Mybadomen for reaching out. We decided not to move forward with "in house testing". Instead we are now building the first 5 prototypes that we are going to send to reviewers, including ones on this site first. We are getting close. We finished the redesign for the smaller footprint, an I have been testing the first prototype here with great results so far. You guys are going to love it. I wish I had one of you guys here to help me with the OC. I'm at 5.2 Ghz on an MSI GD80 and i7 2600k. I can't seem to get it higher, and it doesn't have to do with the heat. Core temps are not going over low 60s running Prime95. I'm sure you guys will do much better than me with it once you get your hands on it.

If you get teamspeak3, I may be able to help you out. If you could have 2 PC's running we could work together.....

Sending to reviewers would be the best scenario. The results could be compared to my custom water cooling (overclock results and temps)

Ok thanks for the offer. I have 4 PCs in my office right now so that would not be a problem. I'm leaving town on Thursday for a week. Let me know if you have some time earlier in the week. I can do evenings too if that's better for you.

yes, I think you brought it up before. Take a look at Social Network - ALLCAST. This is a site my other company is developing, currently in beta. At first for gamers, but later for other purposes. We have created a site where we combine aspect of social networking (facebook) with broadcasting (justin.tv). We are using our proprietary video streaming and broadcasting tech (developed by my company Viewphone.com. We haven't released the broadcasting program yet, but plan to this week. I can give it to you early if you want to try to conference on our system. It would be cool to try it with someone outside my company. We are only approving people right now that we know or that have been referred by someone we know, till we work out the kinks. Email me after you sign up so I can go onto the admin and approve you personally.
