Already a fan on fb page.
    1. Noise level and cooling capability.
    2. It`s easy to use and a compact WC unit. I like having small units with wc capabilities. I like the way you can monitor everything on that little display. Perfect unit!
    3.Manufacturers websites and review websites.

Thank you for the contest, and goodluck everyone.

    - the most important thing is cooling, keeping the temps low and blow away hot air.
    - it`s very easy to mount and it`s easy to see if something`s wrong thanks to that display and of course having the posibility to switch between the profiles if needed.
    - Magazines and from time to time pureoverclock!

Not sure if you want the reply here, but here goes.

Most important feature is how well it cools the CPU.
I like the fact that the Vantage ALC is controlled by the "Brain" and has a display.
I check the reviews at PureOverclock.com, Overclock.net, and McStylis Hardware & Overclock Forum.

    Thanks.

    1. Weight is important to avoid damaging my chip! I want just the right dimensions to maximize cooling and minimize weight.
    2. I like the monitoring because I'm all about overclocking to the max and fine tuning every degree.
    3. I read reputable, popular enthusiast review sites that overclock, mod, benchmark etc.

What is the most important feature in a CPU cooler?
Reliability is #1, failure of a cooler usually means a burnt chip

What do you like most about the Vantage ALC (as seen in the video)?
I really like the LED interface on the cooler, its a nice touch between functionality and style

What resources do you typically use to research CPU coolers when trying to make a decision on which one to buy (i.e. this website, magazines, friends and family, manufacturers website, etc.)
Google is usually the first thing I do, Google a products name then review afterward, read multiple site reviews always staying away from the company site unless I want physical specs. I like to see the head to head analysis that some sites have between multiple coolers on chosen cooling benchmarks.
If I am unsatisfied or unconvinced by reviews,
I usually tend to search the product name followed by "problem" or "support" and try to find the weakest part of the product (looking for what is going to likely faults)

For everyone up here in Canada Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Performance. I'm not into flash and would rather let the number shown in the temperature monitoring application do the talking although this thing is mighty purdy.
    2. It's universal for Intel folks. There's nothing worse than finding out something sweet isn't compatible with your gear.
    3. Vendor websites to see what's available followed by manufacturer websites to see the exact specs followed by review website to get an idea of how it performs. I'm a budget builder so nothing gets my money unless it's worth it.

Q: What is the most important feature in a CPU cooler?
A: A consistent cooling effect all over the CPU, as well as high performance of cooling ability

Q: What do you like most about the Vantage ALC [as seen in the video]?
A: LCD display is brilliant for having an accurate realtime readout of temperature and simplifies things like additional temp monitors being unnecessary. Brilliant for custom system builders .

Q: What resources do you typically use to research CPU coolers when trying to make a decision on which one to buy [i.e. this website, magazines, friends and family, manufacturers website, etc.]
A: Always visit XtremeSystems for a quick perusal of the latest hardware, then pay a visit to some watercooling shops (i.e. TheCoolingShop, Petra's, etc.) to do a quick scan of pricing/availability and then will usually start a shopping list and mock up a diagram to see where things should/will go.
