    Default xspc problem X2O 750 12V Pump/Reservoir

    Hey,

So I got my new water cooling gear; XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 kit, quick disconnects.

Well my motherboard died before all the parts showed. After all the parts show I decided to use an old case and p/s that I had around for a leak test and just general measuring of how the system would fit.

The leak test went great no problems and thank to everyone whom said the qdc's are useful, man they are really nice.

The problem is the pump/reservoir doesn't start all the time, some of the time it just sits and hums.

Has anyone else run into this, is there some thing I'm missing.

Oh and by the way I did try another p/s.

    Thanks

I have changed the setup several time at one point is was setup res/pump/rad/cpu.

At one point I only had the rad in the loop.

Its really quite weird, its more like there is a short in the pump. It turned on the first time and now it only starts working about every 5th time its turned on. I just didn't want to deal with an RMA.

Your not the 1st to have problem with the pump. Call XSPC or your etailer

smduff & DrDeath; shame on you both! You call yourself H20 Jedi
    He has pump build-in res.

Check PSU 12v connector and the pump is only operate on 12v so make sure your PSU is actually supplying 12v current to the pump.

I'm actually using X20 750 RES/PUMP over a year now, numerous times install, uninstall for testing.
I have no single time of the pump won't start, I even use with really old PSU for it too.

You know Molex plug have very bad terminals connection so check those pins for proper contacting.

    Unhappy pump short

So the pump has a short, I took it out of the case while it was on moved it around and it would turn-on and off.

Bummer I hope that these pumps are more reliable than that.

Deton, didn't we have another member with this same problem? he ended up fixing it by resetting the wires to the pump, or was it a pump with a molex connection that he had to fix ?

So I just talked to frozencpu and their response was to bad call xspc for a RMA.

Has anyone else had such crappy service there.

This is my first purchase and my last.

I am a retailer and I believe service is key to anyones business. Passing the buck is not the best policy IMO.

How long have you owned the RASA 750 ? if it's less than 30days you should be able to send it back and get a full refund. Have you thought about buying one of the Swiftech Edge kits ?
