Default Fans and Fan Controller for Antec 300

I have an Antec 300 with just the two stock 3 speed fans. I'm thinking I should install three intake fans, 2 front. 1 side, and a 5-channel fan controller. I am leaning toward three Thermaltake 120mm 2000rpm fans and the new NZXT Sentry Mesh. Don't think I need much more than that, but not sure.

I'm really new to the OC world so would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

The Sentry mesh would look great in the Antec 300.

That's what I was thinking too, as I prefer a very clean, simple looking exterior case. However, I'm wondering whether I will need external temp gauges during gaming or if I can just turn up the fans and call it good. Because I only have one monitor, I've been pausing my games to periodically check my temps via Asus Suite II and AMD Vision Engine Control Center. The system hasn't gotten too hot yet, but it does get hotter than I'd like after about an hour of playing BFBC2. I haven't tried in on Witcher 2 yet, which I just purchased, but have read that that game can heat up a system.

Sam, welcome to PUREOC! I am a fan lover who wants to control how much the fan pulls in a pushes air out. On my case I have a 120mm Aerocool Shark Red Devil (I am at this time Red and Black with some Blue) bringing air in, three120mm Scythe Gentle Thunder 15's (1850r/min) connected to XSPC Rad pushing air from outside through Radiator, plus two120mm Aerocool Shark Red Devil on side (bringing air in), with a Yate Loon 140mm exhausting all the air. The Yate Loon is the High Speed CFM 88.0. It maxes at 2200 but I only have it at 1500.

They are all connected to two Fan Controller's --- one is the Scythe Kaze pro 6 channel (6 fans) plus 6 thermal sensors. This is what I have my Rad's, Rear, and Front fans connected to so that I can control the airflow better. I have another fan controller---Aerocool's F6XT connected to a couple fans and my G.Skill Turbulence II fan Memory Cooler.

There are a lot of options out there, but I tend to focus on Intake a lot of nice cool external air and then using the Yate Loon to expel the air.

For me this has work wonders and I can have all the fans at a lower RPM and still have high air volume.

The best fans I have ever purchase have been my Scythe GT 15's. These are simply amazing
