Default In Win dragon rider cpu cooler help

I'm looking for a dual fan tower style cooler that will fit in the In WIN dragon rider case without having to remove the 240mm side fan.
By the way this is my first post.
The reason I've not posted my system specs is my current system is not worthy as it's a Compaq CQ61-411WM laptop, but I will post what I have on the system I plan on building to give you something to go on.

The issue I'm having is I've read on several review sites that despite it's dimensions the 240mm fan doesn't play well with taller coolers here is a quote from one of said review sites.

It is important to note that while the Dragon Rider has a lot of room inside it, there are clearance issues with taller CPU coolers while the side panel fan is installed. During contruction I tried to use a Thermaltake SpinQ, the SpinQ VT, and a Xigmatek Thor's hammer, and none of them would clear the side panel fan. . Also note that if this fan is removed, the toggle switch for its LED lights must also be removed, leaving a small rectangular hole in the side panel.

The maximum allowable height for a CPU cooler with the side panel fan installed seems to be 150mm.

No other suggestions from anyone the cooler I had picked out at first was the Noctua mentioned by SkorpinokNOR but discovered it will not fit with the side fan and after looking at the Havik at 160mm it wont fit either.

want a decent cooler that directs air out the back of my case and is under 150mm tall.

Either the Corsair H60, or H80 will do just that and are perfect for your CPU's needs. leave the fan inside and be cool.
    welcome to the site too.

The Noctua NH-C14 will fit without an issue and will provide excellent cooling in that build, even with a pretty serious OC. It does not direct air out the back, but rather down with dual fans. Provided you have a good rear exhaust fan, it should not pose a problem.

I have used both the Zalman CNPS11X Extreme and CNPS12X in an NZXT Hades which has a similar clearance issue, and both are excellent performers. BUT they both stand at 154mm, not sure if that will make it in the Dragon Rider.

    sorry for disturbing Stan.

Ive noted the Noctua NH c14 mentioned above any other suggestions would like to stay with air cooling on this build would like the best cooler I can get under 150mm tall and as was posted earlier I plan on overclocking the i52500k to 4.5GHz (if not higher)
not sure what the max stable overclock would be I know it depends on cooling etc. I am fairly new to overclocking would like other suggestions so I can do a small comparison, and get the best cooler for my system/taste.

not sure what the max stable overclock would be I know it depends on cooling etc. I am fairly new to overclocking would like other suggestions so I can do a small comparison, and get the best cooler for my system/taste.
I don't think you are going to find another cooler under 150mm that will match the NH-C14 for outright cooling performance, at least I am not aware of one. The Thermolab BADA2010 will come fairly close, but they are just about impossible to find. As for taste...maybe a Scythe Katana 3?

I have this case and regarding your issue to fit modern cpu heatsinks in w/o hitting fan, you can either move the fan to the right and down one slot or take it out completly and instal 3-5 120mm fans in its place.
