Wow makes the Rampage board look more sexy! makes me more tempted to buy the motherboard just to slap on this waterblock.

Tony, I talked to Tim over at Koolance, he said he would send you the block for review, but it would have to be reviewed on either the X79 Sabertooth or X79 RP 4 Extreme. WE do not currently have either Asus board in for review, only the Asus X79 Pro, Deluxe, and WS.
2nd system
ASRock Z77 OC Formula, 2700K, Two EVGA GTX680s, and one GTX660 Ti PE, 16GBs 2133MHz, Lian Li A75X , Maxrevo 1500W, TT Extreme 240
3rd system
ASUS ROG X79 Rampage 4 Formula, 3930K, Boreas Chiller, VisionTek 480GB, WD 750GB, 16GBs Kingston HyperX Red 1600MHz, Two GTX680s, OCZ 1250W, CM Stryker modded for the Boreas Chiller, 3 white Skull fans grills from MNPCTech.

Does the X79 have a Nb? if not these blocks are worthless except for mofset if your extrrme overclocing with high voltages imo. Its all eye candy now.

A little birdie told me we would be seeded with all of the ASUS boards if that birdie likes what he sees on our reviews of the three we have received so far. My money says he will be liking the reviews.
By the way, the Deluxe is one hell of an overclocker, rock sold at 4.8GHz with temps in the mid 60s under a full load of stressing for over an hour so far. Not using the straps for BLCK adjustments, just 48X100 with BIOS tweaks at 1.410v. Will try for 5.0GHz after I go to town to get my Xmas gifts. LOL

So far only Koolance and EK has released blocks for Rampage IV Extreme and Sabertooth X79. EK is working on the Asus p9x79 series but I'm not sure if Koolance even bother making blocks for Asus P9X79 series or not?
If you look at Koolance past history, they only made blocks for the extreme or gamer boards. But EK would go for both; extreme and most popular boards.
LGA2011 doesn't have NB but the mofset runs pretty hot when overclocked.
And here Sabertooth blocks from Koolance
And here are mofset blocks from Asus X79 and Sabertooth from EK

The larger socket and just the layout makes thing pretty tight the entire VRM area does get pretty warm. One the first X79 board I looked at I could not keep that area cooled sufficiently enough to prevent the dreaded throttling that is being experienced with these new boards.
I mounted a pair of 92mm fans to provide direct airflow to the VRM area of this Deluxe board and have just finished an hour run at 4.9GHz under full load with no down-clocking so getting cooling to that area is a must have for anything above 4.4 or 4.5 from what I am seeing so far.
