Yes, there is a dial 1-5. I have it set about 3, if I set it to max I hear a whirling sound from the pump. Does the blue lead over ride the settings on the dial?

No, The blue wire is so you can monitors the pumps RPM via your bios or if you have a program that can monitor the current CPU fan speed.

No, The fan controller is not going to do anything. Put it on your CPU fan header on the MB.
The Fan controller is use to control the fans only. It won't give you any readings, the tach wire on the pump is for reading only.

Not sure if the recon fan controller can do that, But if you want to test it out and give it a shot let us know. But from my experience I don't think the fan controllers will do that, But I can be wrong, I've never use the recon controller before so maybe it will.
Most of the fan controllers I use are the manual dial style controllers.

You can disable that in the bio so it doesn't look for a fan...
Thats what I did on my Asus Sabertooth x79 board. I don't have ANY fans plugged into any of the MB fan headers. I am using fan controller to control ALL my fans.

I did disable it in the BIOS but it still gave me a CPU fan error. I'll have to look again, maybe there is another spot also. I also have nothing plugged into any of the fan headers because of the Recon.
Where would be the best place to put the temp probe for the CPU? On the side of the waterblock?

Anybody know which brand of clear tubing stays clear?? The tubing that came with my kit has taken on a "Milky Color" while the water is crystal clear.

Thanks Sam, I wonder if you can still see any air bubbles in the blue tubing.
