Default First time WaCo on new 2011 Build

gday all, most of you would have seen my query regarding a new chipset vs a complete new build. Im pretty sure Ill be getting the new build.

Case will be the Fractal Design Define XL (wich require some modding at the top to fit a 360 with push pull...

So heres the parts list. Please just throw your advice at me because I have no desire on stuffing this one up!

Pump: Swiftech MCP35X Extreme Duty (White)
    Waterblock: Swiftech Apogee HD (White)
Rad: Black Ice GT Stealth 360mm
    Res: EK-DDC X RES 140 Acetal
Tubing: PrimoFlex LRT White 1/2" ID - 3/4 OD
Fittings: BitsPower G1/4 Deep Blood Red Compression

I will probably buy the Rad Waterblock and res first. Install them and then work out what fittings I require, be it 90 / 45 or straigh fittings.

The Coolant I am unsure about, I will probably go with a Red so its visible in the res and matches the fittings. I might also buy a couple of those red fittings to see how they look before spending $100 on them. I may still just go black.

I stepped aside from clear tubing as Ive read alot of bad reports on its fading probabilities. I figured the white would look better anyway, as Ill be doing black case w/ white sleeved cables.

Also, I was looking at a Koolance Fan Shroud. If I run this and Push Pull config on the 360, Will it really matter if I get a real high RPM/CFM fan?

Cheers for any help lads much appreciated.

Yup, I agree with Jim. The rad he has listed will do fine... If its only the CPU he will have no problems keeping the temps down..

The full size wont fit into the Define XL with good routing options after case mods...Plus, there is a price difference in AU, unless you wanna pay the shipping to Melbourne mate.

Im getting the 360 to run a GPU loop later if intrigued. Im sure the stealth will do fine for me, as I dont really OC GPU hard, more of a noise issue than anything.

I have NO INTENTION for bull****. I already have a H70 if you read my specs, but on a serious note.. Is there anything behind that statement or or are you just saying that.. From my studies, that comment goes nowhere...

If I add a dual GPU section AFTER Cpu later, do you think that would be an issue?

*EDIT:Im getting the 360 to run a GPU loop later in intrigued.

I have NO INTENTION for bull****. I already have a H70 if you read my specs, but on a serious note.. Is there anything behind that statement or or are you just saying that.. From my studies, that comment goes nowhere...
Oh, didn't know it would't fit. So if you can't get the thick rad then the one you listed is probably best for the price.

And that second comment wasn't for you I was just pulling Jim's leg

I would get the thicker rad. Problem is I am not sure if it will fit in the Define XL With push pull... Im already gonna run 3 fans above the case after some modding and using a koolance shroud.

What are the chances of doing a review on the Define XL Jim???

Its going to be a tight fit with the larger Rad, I think you are better off sticking with what you already have.
I don't have any exp with the case you choose but looking at the online specs you may want to stick to a slim rad.

Silent, seriously, you have plenty of Rad to dissapate the heat from your hardware. The thicker rad probably will not cool any better. BTW PoLo is being a smart ass again and has no clue your going custom.

Adding 2 GPU's will not be a problem with that rad BTW silent....

If I had no idea he was going custom why would I have recommended a thicker rad? I never said the thicker rad would any better but it is a better rad no matter how insignificant the improvement is there is still an improvement and not knowing he was in Australia it was the same price as the thinner rad
