I had to cut my G-Skill down. You can also take some fins of the cooler to make room.

    I found this:

It all starts off easy enough; the backplate and mounting brackets are practically identical to what's on offer from many other high-end solutions, and getting them in place on an LGA 1155 socket is simple and straightforward. However, things get complicated when you attach the heatsink, as the radiator will cover the first memory slot on most motherboards. We had to remove the extended heatspreader on our G.Skill memory in order to get it in place, and, of course, with the fan attached, the PH-TC14PE is going to cover just about all of the memory slots and rule out high-profile memory as a compatible option.

Are you really have the Planteks?
If so then just go with low-profile ram such as crucial tactical. However, they don't have 2400mhz modules only 1600mhz but you can overclock it to 2134Mhz thought.
and if you must have the gskill tridentx then get different cooler.

You won't notice the performance differences in daily application, you only see it in the benchmarks. Ripjaws modules are lower than TridentX.
FYI, faster memory has bigger and taller heatsink therefore you have no other solution but to use different cooler if you want blazing fast memory.

Ripjaws X will fit ... you can also move the Fan over the Ram to middle and the End leaving room for taller ram there is only .5deg in 2 fans and 3 fans, I have a Phanteks PHTC14PE Club on other forums and many have tried different configs and setups.

*Edit* you can also mount the Cooler in North/ South orientation with no change in temps, the real issue is the fan placement with taller Ram unless your planning on using 4 sticks.
