Ok.So do you need to use a push -pull config on you're rad?
And what are the benefits of doing so. I have a Koolance Quad 120mm. Rad I am going to use in my AZZA rig.
Thank's for input.![]()

How thick is your radiator? If its 80mm thick like mine,push-pull with strong static pressure fans are most beneficial for better cooling![]()

Stan, he said koolance.
It's must be old model because koolance stops making thick rads now. A rad that thick is definitely benefit with high rpm and push/pull configuration. The draw back is the fan noises. I assume this rad has 20 fins per inch right? The more fins the higher fan speed needed, the more fins the more noise is generated.

Run it in a push pull with fan controller so when the extra air flow is not needed you can crank down the speed. and its nice and quiet![]()

Hey Jim, That one doesn't look like a 80mm thick one.. maybe 25-30mm thick..
But push pull will help, but as tony mentioned. More fans more noise.. fan controller will come in handy for controlling the fans in low speeds when its not needed.

that doesn't look like thick profile rad, yes fan controller help with the fan noise.
tbh, the value performance with push/pull configure for slim rad is not worth it. The four extra fans will set you back about $40 bucks, at least and the performance gain is very minimal.

Thank's.That is what I am trying to find out.I am trying to cut down on the fan noise.
And the RAD is only 1 1/4'' thick.I dont know what mm that is.

Hey Guys, this is Jims first water cooling setup, which is why I asked for the photos I kind of figured it wasn't 80mm, not many people giveaway 80mm/ 480 Rads
