    Default Story behind Coolit?

What exactly happened to Coolit anyway? They offered some great products which I still use today. I've heard stories of Coolit being sued and Corsair somehow picking them up...just curious.

That's one of the stories I hear. I still don't know what developed between Coolit and Corsair.

No, CoolIt is still very much alive, they chose to do custom cooling for other company's building custom systems. plus they still supply cooling for the Armed Services as well servers

I found their new site...appears they no longer make products like the Vantage coolers and such. So, Corsair has no dealings with them now?

They still work with Corsair, in fact they made the new H80i and H100i which means they most likely designed the new H110 & H90

Your wrong, mounting is completely different, and the pump housing is not round on the Corsair coolers, remember I have Asetek and the new Corsair coolers sitting here.

Stan this the mounting kit that Corsair shows on their site for the H90 and H110. i have the same exact mounting kit for both my Asetek coolers and the same looking pump.

Also the Antec Kuhler, Thermaltake Water 2.0 coolers, and Nzxt Kraken coolers also use this mounting kit and we all know those are Asetek coolers

Oh my...Coolit's original design was much better. Why the changes? Coolit's Vantage came with a much simpler mounting system that worked great and fit everything.

      • My PC was destroyed, so now I only have my laptop. I am assembling some of the parts as I need them (monitor) or find them cheaper (SSD, H100) than I expect to at my November build date.
