Default Corsair H100 fans doubt, need advices

    Hi guys how are you?

I have the H100 cooler running at my 3770k @4.5

There is only 2 fans on it, the stock ones that comes with the cooler

I was thinking to or buy another 2 fans and make the push/pull system or buy 4 new fans is it worth?

If yes wich fans do you reccomend for the H100, noise is not a problem for me, with the 2 stock coolers that comes the H100 i put on Max with no problem

I know that CFM to WC is not the most important thing to see, that's why i'm here to ask the pro's, the most important is the Fan static pressure right?

The stock H100 fans are good? Some people say yes, another say no, so confused...

Anyway, i know that i'll get the best solution to my cooler rig with you guys

    Thanks

the non-pwm version have no speed control but should work with the pump speed control. the pwm can be controlled by the motherboard.

the stock H100 fans are good but very loud that's why most people change them for something else. if you want quieter fans i suggest Gentle Typhoons AP-15s or Swiftech Helix fans.

I use in the max the fans here, connecting direct in the MB so for me will be no difference from PWM and the normal one right?

No problem with the noise here, really, i don`t care

Off course that i don`t want something too much louder than the stock fans i have today

The point is that i wanna do push/pull, using so 4 fans, the push/pull will give me more performance? Worth?

And talking about the H100 stock fan, if you guys tell me to get another 2 of then i can`t find any place that ships to Brazil this fans, performance pcs do not have it

Anyway, more suggestions will be nice. I`ll take alook at Typhoons and Swiftech, wich one of these 2 are better considering i`ll take 4?

push/pull should get you a couple degrees lower on temps. with pwm fans the motherboard will control the speed of the fans. when you're at idle or just surfing the web the fans will slow down and become more quiet and when you like playing a game or something that puts a load on your cpu it will speed the fans up so you dont have to do anything the motherboard will do it automatic.

But even with the PWM can i set the fans to use the max power all the time or it`s just up to the motherboard? The non PWM will be at max all the time without the option to control, right?

And just one more question, the both that you suggested in the end: Typhoons and Swiftech are better than the Sp120?

    Thanks

most motherboards have the option to run pwm fans at full speed. the Corsair SP120's are close to the stock fans but a little quieter. they max at 2350 instead of 2700 of the stock h100 fans. since you dont care about noise i say go for the Corsair SP120s then.

They both are good fans but from what i heard the cougars make a whine noise when mounted horizontally. Look for SamCR3 on this forum. He use to use the Cougars for his rad.
You don't know me and that's the way i like it!

Go with the SP120s, I tested them on the H100i, and I'm sure your going to be very happy with them. They not only perform great, they also look great.
