    Default Got a Boreas

Hello, I just got a Boreas Chiller from a friend of mine. The Firmware on the MTEC is 2.04 but he only had the original Disc with the software version of 1.13 on it, so I cannot control the Boreas at all. with it hooked up its at 40% and without the USB connected it is at 100%. I don't want it on 100% all the time, so does anyone on here have the newest software version for the MTEC before they discontinued support for it. There forums are locked and auto direct you to there new website. I've tried Caching in and finding a link to download it but I couldn't find one.

If anyone has the MTEC software I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey Dr. Death, would you happen to have the last software version for the MTEC control center before Coolit stopped support for it?

I use the original manual controllers with my two modded CoolIt Boreas Chillers, I tried the MTEC controller & software but always got better results with the manual controllers. Did you update the stock CPU block yet ?

Hey Dr. Death, for the Cpu block I'm using a EK supremacy block. Hmm what are these manual controllers? My friend gave me his Chiller and the MTEC controller, but since his computer got fried during hurricane sandy he no longer had the newer software that he was using to communicate with the 2.04 firmware. If there are manual controllers, that would be nice since it would give me control over what it is doing.

I'm pretty sure I bought the last of them, when I heard they were going to stop making the Boreas, I bought as many as I could. I've never had one go bad, but it's batter to have them and no need them, that to need one and can't buy one lol I had 25 of each, but I've sold quite a few of them, so if you want to buy one, I'd have to check and see what I have left.

The Mtec controller? The Boreas works flawlessly I just can't fine control it. its either barely working or 100% working at the moment based on if I have the usb wire connect to the MTEC or taken out.
