I would say the Kraken based on the control and performance. It also runs a little bit quieter when at full than the 110 does in general. Not that noticeable but it is a slight difference. The performance can differ realistically by around 1-2C between the x60 and the H110. Really it just depends on whether you want to have that little performance boost or if you want to get a slightly better price. Very comparable units.

TCC, that's not true, I've tested both of them on a 3930K OCEd to 4.5GHz. The H110 runs a lot quieter than the X60, due to the 1600rpm fans, but the cooling performance is basically the same, when you install the X60 2000RPM fans on the H110, there's only a 1-2c difference in temps

    Neither one

I would wait and buy this one over the others instead, better performance and features plus you can expand on it.

Swiftech H220X it also comes in several sizes

Depending on the reviews, I would agree with Vin, while I love my H100i, I have some high hopes for the Swiftech, and it should be coming out in the next couple months, if your willing to wait that long that is. And the H200x is expandable.

The Kraken is better due to the higher speed fans but also louder. Both units are made my Asetek so basically the same unit with different fans and the Kraken has the software control while the H110 doesnt. But remember the H110 have 20mm fan spacing instead of the normal 15mm fan spacing of most rads. so make sure you case is compatible with the 20mm fan spacing or you gonna have problems. i would agree with Vinny though and wait for the Swiftech H220X.

Oops. Yeah, its the PUMP which runs quieter on the Kraken. Not the fans. Those fans are EXTREMELY loud lol

whats the quietest 140 mm fans on the market?
thinking i might do a air pull that draws mainly from between the board and back pannel
that drops my temps a considerable bit whene i dirrect the air flow like that

and with a 4 fan push pull,,,,im thinking i could leave it on low and have good temps

maybe this as i do not want blue ledz

You need to consider two things one being CFM at there highest and lowest speeds as well as noise at those speeds and pick
the one with the highest CFM and lowest noise

and with a 4 fan push pull,,,,im thinking i could leave it on low and have good temps

You might regret getting those fans. The quietest 140mm fans I have used recently are Phanteks, Fractal Design Silent series and Corsair Air series.
