Default Having a Hard time finding a bay reservoir.

Hello new here and I have been looking for a rear mount reservoir.

I have the Alienware Area 51 ALX case and the bays are tool-less, but it only locks in the rear holes of a drive.

    I need a pump with:
    • high flow
    • techo output (using Alienware command center)
    • mount in bay along with reservoir (space is limited)
The system will be single loop with only one radiator 360 x 120 with 3 Alienware very high flow fans.

Any help pointing anything out would help.

I have no place to mount one of those.

The case has a closing compartment over the GPUs, so mounting one like that will have to be over top of the CPU or memory.

It has to be a bay mount unit.

Alienware Area-51 ALX Desktop Details | Dell

Take a look at the case here and look at the inside pictures. You will see the cover I am talking about.

The bottom of the case is full. The alienFX board is mounted in front of the PSU.

As you can see in the second pictures. The little white tabs are the tool-less part of the drive bays. It only locks in the rear holes of a drive.

If I recall correctly, the XSPC DDC bayres (Acrylic Dual Bayres/Pump Combo with One DDC ? XSPC - Performance PC Water Cooling) has the depth you are looking for as well as the notches in the rear that will work with your tool free.

But, it has been a while since I used one, so I could be wrong...and I can't find a decent side photo of it.

What you need is a single full length 5.25 AIO that includes the pump if all your going to cool is your CPU then this should be fine
if you don't need something this sophisticated you can purchase a full length acrylic a lot cheaper then this one if you shop it around

    XSPC DDC bayres

    Dimensions: 149 x 104 x 85.5mm

    W x L x H

The reservoir is to short. The rear mount hole measures 131 mm and the reservoir is only 104 mm long.......

I will be cooling two HD 6870 card also. With the plans to add the board soon in the loop.

My plan build is to use the Aleinware Command Center to control everything.

I am beginning to think no one makes what I need.

I have a used XSPC res that would fit it has an internal pump but I don't believe it is strong enough to handle a 360 Rad, plus CPU block and video cards combined

if you local in the US that is, I can send it to you for the cost of shipping it, picture below just PM me with your address and I will let you know the shipping costs

That would work as it has the extensions and it also has a pump that would handle all your components

Default Re: Having a Hard time finding a bay reservoir.

The reviews on it was not all that good.

Having to assy it and parts do not fit right problems.

    Its not cheap
    Having to assemble
Not pressure tested (can be done by yourself, but still has to be done)
Need a "y" to use the full pump (in my set up)

    hmmmmmm The reviews worry me.
