You need to change the adapter to a molex or 3 pin fan header..
Those are OEM DDC pumps that were normally used in mac's and have a diff plug.

I have 3 of these pumps and all 3 were re ran to 3pin headers so it can get power from the motherboard or a 3pin to molex adapter.
There is a power, Ground and RPM signal wire, the 4th one is not needed, but rumor is that some had PWM feature but I have yet to find that to these this theory correctly.

I will need to take a pic of one of my pumps when I have time to take them apart.
But here is a good guide that Martin's Lab put together on those same DDC pumps.

The one you should pay attention to here is the DDC-1T

    Take a look here.
    http://martinsliquidlab.org/2011/03/09/laing-ddc-1-ddc-1t/

mine are pretty much the same pumps in that page, what I did was omit the "supposed" PWM cable since the PWM feature didn't work for my pump anyways and rewired it to have the power, ground, and RPM signal to be used.

I will need to take the pump apart Since all the wires are black, externally there is no way to tell which wire is going where... This way I can show you the leads.

The other thing is if you can take pics of your pump for me where the wires go to the circuit, i can see if I can guide you through it..

OK, looks like you have the newer version of the DDC pumps. Unlike the one I have which is version 5.4. The wiring is diff.
So I looked up the PCB on the Laing V6.0 pump and the wiring should be as followed.

I took a pic off the internet and edited to point out the Lead outs and also used your picture to point our the lead outs as well.
Try that and let me know if it works. Since I am only basing it off the V6.0 PCB images and whatever info I found on the V6.0 pumps, I hope it works and let us know how it goes.

    Here are the images.
