    Default OVERCLOCKING FROM 4.5 TO 5.0 Ghz AMD10 7850K, asrock extr.6, LOW-PROFILE COOLERS

Hello, for this configuration, I would like to do the overclock, AMD A10 7850K ,mb Asrock extreme6, cabinet Corsair Graphite 780T Full-Tower, I prefer LOW-PROFILE COOLERS

What a type suggest LOW PROFILE AIR COOLERS me for an overclock from 4,5 To 5.0 Ghz ?

    Thanks.

I have no idea what your up to but here are a few low profile coolers you can research that cool really well.

Noctua Low-profile NH-L9A Quiet CPU Cooler for AMD

Due to the slim 23mm heat sink and the NF-A9x14 low profile fan that measures only 14mm in thickness, the NH-L9 stands a mere 37mm tall, which makes it ideal for use in compact HTPCs or Small Form Factor cases that offer minimum clearance for CPU coolers.

The NH-L9a has a 92x114mm footprint that complies with the 96x114mm keep-out zone specified by AMD. This means that it doesn't overhang the RAM slots, so it's fully compatible with tall memory modules.

Some AMD based mini-ITX mainboards have the PCIe slot sitting close to the 96x114mm socket zone. While larger coolers that exceed this zone may block the PCIe slot, the 92x114mm sized NH-L9a provides full compatibility with PCIe cards.

The highly optimized NF-A9x14 premium fan features Noctua's proprietary AAO frame as well as sophisticated aerodynamic design measures. Supporting PWM for fully automatic speed control, the NF-A9x14 allows the NH-L9a to stay remarkably quiet. Allowing to reduce the maximum speed of the NF-A9x14 fan from 2500 to 1800rpm, the included Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) makes it possible to achieve near-silent setups using CPUs with less than 65W TDP.

The NH-L9a bundles a custom-designed SecuFirm2 mounting system for AM2(+)/AM3(+)/FM1/FM2 that offers extended compatibility with mini-ITX boards and makes installation easier than ever, all while maintaining the trusted SecuFirm2 quality.

Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile High Performance CPU Cooler
This dual-fan low profile cooler gives excellent cooling with minimal noise, thanks especially to its thermally-controlled PWM fans.
The NH-L12 is a low-profile quiet cooler designed for use in small form factor cases and HTPC environments. With its flexible NF-F12 (120mm) / NF-B9 (92mm) dual PWM fan setup, the NH-L12 can be configured either for full performance in dual fan mode or extra-low profile (66mm) with the top fan removed. Bundled with the award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound and Noctua's SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-L12 packs everything a premium quality quiet cooler needs into a highly compact package.

    Noctua NH-C14 Heatsink
One of the unique aspects of the Noctua NH-C14 heatsink is it can be made even more compact by removing one of the two 140mm diameter Noctua NF-P14 fans. Either to reduce its height to 105mm or alternatively to raise its clearance over nearby motherboard components like the RAM.
The two 140mm Noctua NF-P14 vaneaxial fans that ship with the NH-C14 feature SSO bearings, vortex-control notches and elastomeric rubber mounting pads - all in an effort to reduce noise.

The NH-L9a is not up to that task - not even close.....unless you plan on keeping the rig in a walk-in freezer, and even then I have my doubts. The NH-L12 will likely falter under those conditions, as well.

The be quiet! Shadow Rock TF and Noctua NH-C14 would be the two best equipped to deal with the type of OC you are looking at doing. However, they are also the largest of the top flow coolers coming in at 131mm with fans attached. Performance of the two is essentially identical, and personally I think the BQ piece is much better looking.

If you need to stay shorter, your best chance would be with the Cryorig C1 which has shown to hang on a little better than the NH-L12 with higher heat sources.

    I already knew that
that is why I said I had know idea what hes up to meaning with those overclocks, and could not understand why a low profile
in the first place? especially since he has the room for a larger cooler.
