    Funny you should say that...when I was considering using TEC in one of the systems I build at work, one of the EEs around here said "No way in hell". Seems that a TEC does one of two things...if it's working right, it pulls heat out. If it's working wrong, it puts heat in. In other words, in one of it's failure states, it ADDS heat. So, while "Blowing Up" has a neat Emoticon, it really should be Melting Down...through the MB, the case, etc...

    On the other hand...maybe we SHOULD get one to play with...could be fun.
