I didn't want to fill up the WC case gallery but I saw this today and wanted to share with you guys based on your posts. The next phase-change revolution is almost upon us!

Personally, I want three and a new case to fit them all in. What do you guys think?

ok, Dr. D & saw this before the CES 09. It's just like a mini Phase. At the look of it, its taken too much space in the case, and I don't think it will cool at sub ambient on load. I can be wrong until we see some review.

Anyway, if it sub ambient cooling capcity then you have to worry about condensation, how long the gas in the compressor will last? cost to refill it, you need special tool/gauses to check the pressure when you filling. Definitely I will keep an eye on this product.

Ooohh, yeah, I didn't even think of the review angle. Then we all get to know how good they are without guinea pigging it on one of our wallets. Please keep up your efforts, I would really like to see a review.

Thanks for the FAQ link shattered.likeness, it looks like most of the concerns are reasonably addressed. As for sub-ambient temps, I would be happy if it kept my core temps ~30-40c under load with a ridiculous OC. Anything better would just be a bonus.

It is a rather large cooling solution, I have to give you that Deton. I could only get two of them in my current case. What good would cooling only 1 GPU do me? So, I would have to get a really big case if I got three of them.

I wonder how much they will cost? Anyone heard yet?

I am trying my best to get us a review sample, I am not sure if I can get the whole set up because they cost $799.99 At CES they showed single units that fit in 4 / 5.25 drive bays, I might be able to get one of those to review when the are available. I have a very good contact there, if he can get one for us he will.

He just gave me two coolers for a give away that will be sponsored by Thermaltake. The reviews will be published before the give away starts, so you will know everything you need to know about each cooler by reading thier reviews. One give away should start next next month, and one in March.

Whoohoo! Thanks for doing the hard part Doc D.

So these mini units cost $800 too? That is kind of steep to be picking up three. I was hoping they would cost a bit less than the full sized unit.

Rosco, I'm not sue on the price of the bay units, I would say maybe $350 -$400 but that's just a guess. From what I understand, they will be making them for video cards also.

Oh... that's more like it. Admittedly it is still ridiculous to buy three, but not as ridiculous.

And yes, the picture shows one for the CPU and one for the GPU. I'm surprised they didn't bring a SLI/CF set-up for CES. Maybe it is really hard to get three into even a large case.

Come on Thermaltake, let us try them!!! Or are you requesting one of the full-size, CPU only ones?

Edit: Sorry, it looks like you are wanting to try both, I just wasn't reading carefully enough.

Ya for these types of things, a loaner for a review would be awesome.
