Default Coolit Systems tec based cooling systems???

Hey folks have Coolit Systems stoped making Tec based chiller cooling products?

What happened to the Elite and Boreas lines they use to offer?
There is no listing for these products on their website that I can see?

How can you sell a product if it is not even listed under the products heading of the website?
If you use their search function of their site you get no listings either?

They still produce the Boreas, but in limited numbers. It is rather difficult to navigate their site I agree. You just need to contact them directly with your needs.

I'm sure you can order from them but they are very hard to get from retailers now because they don't do mass production for those coolers any more. They are more concentrate on traditional WC kit with the twist of advance technology now, because they can make more money in the mainstream market than enthusisats sector. It's easy to sell $120 kit than $300 or $500 cooler.

I still think it sucks for the price you pay they should show them on the web site, but I bet they will faze them out eventually or keep them around for the hardcore gamers and system builders only,
they should at least update them to the new technology with the fancy read outs and all. especially since they freaking cost so much then at least you would feel you got your moneys worth when your spending the big bucks! After all its these units that put them on the map to begin with they are far superior to just a straight water cooling unit. like what they are making now! JMHO!

I agree I love my Boreas Chillers, I was one of the first persons to own one when they were first released, since then I have owned a bunch of them. You just can't beat the cooling performance.

Joel, what system were you looking for, I can put you in touch with one of my contacts there.

No I agree they are well worth the money all the more reason they should be shown on their web site is what I am saying they are second to none I do believe there is nothing out there as good as those
units. But still expensive non the less

I tend to agree with Denton about them pushing the newest models...the Boreas is a specialty unit and they probably did not make as much profit on them as the price would suggest. The smaller and more economical units are most likely their bread and butter. I would bet if they could phase out the Boreas production it would suit them just dandy...and that option just may be in the works.

I think those TEC baser coolers are made to order now and I'm sure they still make those for OEM partners. IMO, CoolIt is going for the mass now. Let put it this way if the ECO240 and Vantage selling for $115. The cost to make they probably 1/2 of that, just say cost them 1/2 to make.

So if they can sell 100 units of ECO240 or Vantage, they will profit almost $2900 bucks or more. And let say if they sell 10 Elites for $300 each, they only profit $1500.

I'm sure it's not only end users buying these coolers to install in their PC but CoolIt OEM partners (Dell, Alienware, Acer...etc) will order these coolers to install in ther computer and sell them as well.

Yup they go for quantity and advance technology. How many water cooling kit have LCD interface module temp monitoring you know on the market? They also developed a thermal controlling software (Maestro) to work with the Vantage and fans, lights; of course have to be their brand. More blings and gradgets which no other watercooling manufacturers are start making it with the bang for the buck yet.

CoolIt is going where the money is; afforable with a decent performance will attract the mainstream.
