What do you mean by big?

The biggest chip is the Opteron 6167. 12 cores!

No, it's a server chip. You'll want to look at Phenom II X6 1055T, 1075T, 1090T, 1100T. They're all berry fast and fruitylicious.

    AMD Overdrive

Generally, server boards can't overclock, so you'll be stuck with AM3. Are you looking to do a new build? If so, what's the budget?

The server chip berry expensive. I would say you will be fine with a X 6 core... 1090 or 1055T.

The difference between the X6 chips is stock clock speed, turbo frequency and multipliers. They are the exact same chips other than that.
