    Default i7 950

    Hi

I am new to all this, great site btw.

I have just taken the plunge and bought a decent PC, I am about to go down the water cooling route and have purchased the parts.

I would like seem info on how to get my cpu and gpu OC, My mobo came with a tool so my i7 is running at 3.8ghz(are these tools a waste of time - should I be looking at the bios instead) at the moment but would like to really push this if possible with my motherboard.

    Any advice would be great.

pay a visit to the 4Ghz thread (link under my sig), you will find some useful information in there.

I would perfer do it through the BIOS, you have more freedom than OC tools software.

    Thanks Guys,

I will have a good read, nice to feel welcome on a forum rather than being flamed or being called a noob.
