    Cool New at Overclocking

    Hello Everyone,

Love the site so far. I've been able to gather a lot of useful information. I've read the 4ghz Club sticky but before I do anything I need some guidance so I don't destroy my rig. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've updated my user account with all my system specifications but here's the rundown.

    i7-950
    ECO Advanced Liquid Cooling
    Asus sabertooth x58
    8gb ddr3 kingston 1600mhz 2gbx4
    Diamond ATI hd5570
    1.5tb wd green hd
    680w power supply
    Antec LanBoy Air atx case

I've been monitoring my system since the build last week and with everything set at the defaults here are some numbers so far.

I run at 29c to 38c on idle to basic use and my max has been 58c at %100 load.

Anyone willing to walk me through boosting this rig please respond. I think we could get 4.4ghz stable system.

4.4Ghz may be tough but 4.2GHz is very achievable with your chip.
