Default E6300 Clocking Issues - Stuck at 1.6Ghz

Just got my E6300 , but I cant get it past 1.6Ghz , Ive clocked Systems before but this BIOS is not giving the option to change the Mulitplier on the FSB. I have tried increasing the FSB/ Mem Mhz but the system is just beeping and wont boot.

At The Moment These are the settings in the BIOS

    Frequency Control

    PCIE - 100 Mhz

    System Clock Mode

Current FSB Speed is - 1066.7 Mhz

Current Mem Speed is - 533.3 Mhz ,

    ----------------------------------------------

    Voltage Control

    Core Voltage - 1.4v
    CPU Termination Voltage - 1.25v
    VCore Voltage - Auto

    -------------------------------------------------

Like wayne said, put up your sys specs, especially your mobo. The E6300 has a multiplier of 7 and it cant be changed. Your cpu-z is reading wrong b/c stock speeds of your proc are 1.87GHz not 1.6.

hmmm why is your multi at x6? so i the BIOS you cannot change the multi at all, it' sjust defaulting to 6?

When it boots up, does it show the CPU frequency?
